For events with under 1,000 people, proof of COVID vaccination or negative test is no longer required. Masks are mandatory for those who are not vaccinated, and optional for those who are fully vaccinated.
After experiencing a unique era living with a world-shattering pandemic, we are pleased to announce that the leaders, directors and performers are carefully preparing to present their best again on Oakland's Temple Hill. Our hearts go out to those who have lost loved ones as well as to those who have battled the virus and survived. Thank you to our courageous healthcare practitioners and essential workers. Thank you for persevering through a most unpredictable and life-threatening time.
As we step back into the spotlight, we are enthusiastic to share our joy and talents, yet mindful of potential for new surges or variants that could set us back. We wholeheartedly respect the protocols necessary to meet safely in our auditorium and cultural halls, and we appreciate that you will do the same.
With that said, I declare a figurative but warming embrace and welcome to you, as you support our concerts through your attendance and applause. Our performers are clearing the cobwebs and polishing their pipes, and we look forward to feeling the inspirational symphony, choir, solos and dance adorning our stage once again.
As a reminder, while you visit this beautiful Temple Hill, I suggest that you arrive early, walk the fragrant grounds, enjoy the view and feel the wonderful spirit that resides here. When permitted, spend time in the Visitors' Center and meet the directors — Elder and Sister Argyle.
Take home the memories of this uplifting and peaceful place, and cherish them in your heart. Be well. Now, my friends, on with the show.
